Raw Hemp Fiber is one of the most valuable parts of the hemp plant and is the strongest natural fiber known to man. It is commonly called bast fiber, which refers to the fibers that grow on the outside of the plant’s stalk. Hemp fibers can be between approximately 0.91 m (3 ft) and 4.6 m (15 ft) long. Fiber uses are but not limited to paper, textile, automotive, twin, canvas, carpet and rope.
